Arline (pronounced R-line) and Stella were my grandmothers whose respective basements were filled with vintage treasures throughout my childhood … think 1960s dresses, 1970s lamps, dazzling costume jewelry, and kitschy paintings. Both basements had cocktail bars with sparkly, plastic swivel sticks and old fashioned couches flanked by mid-century side tables. Grandma Stella also had a fake fireplace that would glow yellow and red while a way-too-loud motor whirred.

My mom, Deb, and I started Arline and Stella to honor them while providing sustainable and stylish goods to thrifters, vintage junkies, and fashion mavens. We offer a variety of items including clothing, accessories, artwork, kitchenware, knickknacks, small furniture, and more. Some items are antiques, vintage, or retro; others are vintage-inspired or simply look retro; and some we just think are cool. We strive to present a curated collection at affordable prices.

Our goods are sourced from a variety of places: our own personal collections, yard sales, estate sales, vintage wholesalers, thrift stores, and donations.
